2024 was a remarkable year
2024 was a remarkable year: With the help of our donors and local medical teams, we enabled 8,863 life-changing surgeries—the highest number in our history. Since 2017, the number of operations in our projects has more than doubled.
Every operation gives the child who receives it the chance for a better life—with fewer health and social challenges, and more opportunities to follow their dreams and plans for the future. And for parents, it is an enormous relief to finally know their child is receiving the help they need.
Our latest annual report also covers many other important topics: the current status of our work in our project countries, illustrated with powerful photographs; the encouraging progress of our still young project in Ethiopia/Somalia; and the launch of a pilot project in Angola.
