We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the passing of our volunteer board member Tom Schneider. Tom died in a traffic accident. He was 70 years old.
Tom supported our organisation for many years. As an international entrepreneur, he was a valued advisor—known for his cultural openness, clear perspective, and sharp mind. He was a true visionary and always full of ideas. As the founder of ISA TanTec, he was a pioneer in environmentally friendly and sustainable leather processing.
His deep belief in combining entrepreneurial responsibility with social and environmental commitment was reflected in his generosity, his big heart, and his lasting impact far beyond his own company.
We will remember Tom as a warm and sincere person. He will be greatly missed.
