When the parents already want to give up hope, they meet a woman whose child was also born with a cleft. Her child was operated in our cleft center in Patna. Amina’s parents found new hope.
Hopeful, Ashmita’s parents visit our cleft center in Patna. They immediately get an appointment for Ashmita’s surgery. After the one-hour operation, Ashmita’s parents are overjoyed and grateful. And now, their extended family and acquaintances accept the girl and Ashmita has now the best chances to grow up healthy and integrated into society.
